SYLLABUS

MODULE 1

Personal Protection Standards and Third Party Defense developed by the National Self-Defense Agency. (F.A.S.T. Methodology)

DAY 1 STARTS AT 8AM SHARP 

(Registration from 7-8am)

HOUR ONE: 'F' Stands for Foundation and Fitness

  • Foundation: teaching the Pyramid Theory of a better foundation so that you don't end up on your back.
  • Fitness: teaching basic techniques that are not unreasonable or overwhelming

HOUR TWO: 'A' stands for Awareness and Avoidance

  • Awareness: Understanding your Environment (Danger Signs, Problem Areas, and Current News or Crime Trends)
  • Avoidance: Making Sound Decisions based on Knowledge and Percentages

HOUR THREE: 'S' stands for Stealing the Sequence of Events and Stunning

  • Stealing the Sequence of Events: means to attack instead of defend
  • Stunning: high low or low high methods of attack

HOUR FOUR: 'T' stands for Tactic or Tenacity

  • Tactics: is the knowledge of “A” weapons, a pen, a purse, a briefcase, etc
  • Tenacity: is the will to survive no matter what the odds are against you

LUNCH BREAK - 12 NOON TILL 1PM

MODULE 2

Passive Counter Measures for Survival of Tentative Force

HOUR FIVE:  Passive Defense

  • Wrist Lock Forward Power
  • Follow Ups

HOUR SIX:  Passive Defense

  • Wrist Lock Polar Guidance
  • Follow Ups

HOUR SEVEN:  Passive Defense

  • Arm Bar Lock and Strike
  • Follow Ups

HOUR EIGHT: Passive Defense

  • Wrist Lock Outside Lead
  • Follow Ups

NOTE: Written exam at end of each day. Pass rate 80%.

Aggressive Counter Measures for Survival of a Greater Force

DAY 2 STARTS AT 8AM SHARP

HOUR ONE: Aggressive Counter Measures

  • "Serving Tea" Technique
  • Follow Ups

HOUR TWO: Aggressive Counter Measures

  • "Shadowing" Technique
  • Follow Ups

HOUR THREE: Agressive Counter Measures

  • Elbows and Knees
  • Follow Ups

HOUR FOUR: Agressive Counter Measures

  • 'A' Weapons
  • Follow Ups

LUNCH BREAK - 12 NOON TILL 1PM

MODULE 4

Ground Defense for Survival of a Ground Attack

HOUR FIVE:  Ground Survival

  • Warm Ups (Break Falls, Get Ups and Shrimping)

HOUR SIX: Ground Survival

  • Moving and Escaping the Mount

  • Follow Ups

HOUR SEVEN: Ground Survival

  • Changing Places / Breaking the Table Leg

  • Follow Ups

HOUR EIGHT: Ground Survival

  • Using and Escaping the Guard

  • Follow Ups

NOTE: Written exam at end of each day. Pass rate 80%.

MODULE 5

Violence of Action for Survival of an Edged Weapon

DAY 3 STARTS AT 8AM SHARP

HOUR ONE: Surviving Edged Weapons

  • Theories and Mind Set

  • Practical Application

HOUR TWO: Surviving Edged Weapons

  • Choose your Poison

  • Practical Application

HOUR THREE: Surviving Edged Weapons

  • Get Off Line

  • Practical Application

HOUR FOUR: Surviving Edged Weapons

  • Attack First

  • Practical Application

LUNCH BREAK - 12 NOON TILL 1PM 

MODULE 6

Active Shooter Survival Methodology (Run, Hide and Fight Methodology).

HOUR FIVE:  Active Shooters Flight

  • Make distance your friend

  • Followups

HOUR SIX: Active Shooters Shield

  • If Fleeing is not an option become scarce

  • Follow Ups

HOUR SEVEN: Active Shooters Fight

  • When Flight and Shield are not options stand your ground and aggressively Fight

  • Follow Ups

HOUR EIGHT: Course Evaluation and Certification Presentation

  • Evaluate the program and rate our instructors

  • Recieve your CEUs/Certifications

NOTE: Written exam at end of each day. Pass rate 80%.
